About the college
Welcome to Jahanzeb College
Government Post Graduate Jahanzeb College was founded in 1952 by Miangul Abdul Haq Jahanzeb, the ruler of the former Swat State, to provide higher education to the people of the region. It began with a few hundred local students and today teaches thousands of students from across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. The college offers arts and science programmes, has taught the four-year BS system since 2010 — now in 18 departments — and is affiliated with the University of Swat.
